Just a little history about us.
The park was started nearly forty years ago by local man Jim Gannon and his wife Brid. Being forward thinking, Jim and
Brid catered for the tourist industry that was just starting to take place in the west of Ireland. Catering at the time for
mainly horse drawn caravans, the park has now moved on to cater for the modern day holiday maker. Still keeping the family
feel to the camp, Jim is now joined by his son Seamus in running this quiet piece heaven. The vast amount of local knowledge
that Jim and Seamus can impart for all your enquiries, makes Croagh Patrick caravan park the ideal venue for the first time
visitor to this area. All facilities in this area, such as Westport House or Clare Island are within very easy reach and Jim
or Seamus will gladly supply you with any leaflets on these, and many more, attractions.
Come and sample the site and become one of our many old friends.
